Rocky Mountain Radiology Center, northern Colorado's Only Open MRI, has been providing patients with state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging since July 17, 2000.  Our imaging center is one of the most advanced designs in the industry.  This sophisticated diagnostic imaging tool allows radiologists to see the inner workings of the human body.  With the use of MRI, many abnormalities involving soft tissue and bone can be detected.

The Hitachi Airis II Open MRI at Rocky Mountain Radiology Center allows imaging to be performed in a comfortable, non-claustrophobic, and friendly environment.  Patients can relax and listen to music while having their procedure.  Unlike the traditional MRI, which is performed in a confining and narrow cylinder, the Airis II Open MRI equipment is spacious, non-restrictive, and the patient can even look out the window.  It is ideal for all individuals, as well as those who have a tendency to be anxious, claustrophobic, and dislike small confining spaces.  Patients who have a disability, are large or overweight, pediatrics, and seniors will find the Open MRI non-stressful and comfortable.
